“Laurel My Love” - José Díaz
This song got me my first show in Philadelphia. I thought, “I made it!”
Now I don’t like the song so much anymore, and I wonder what “making it” is.
I miss recording myself, and sometimes wonder if I should have tried to sell people on these songs/recordings or if it was better to move on.
I’m only now getting to songs that I don’t want to leave behind.
