Better than “Telephone”. Are music videos short films featuring extended cuts of the music as soundtrack?
This is good use of graphic violence, I think—the action in the film reminded me of accounts of genocide I have read, accounts that often have little effect on us since they “don’t affect us”. Transposing the characters into a reality more familiar to us heightens the shock of the account, perhaps allowing us to better understand it.
